Where did the time go?
Now that baseball season ended two days ago, everything just feels less exciting. I would feel so amped up and stoked for each and every game we had every week. But now that we got eliminated, I just feel so bummed out. That last game we had against Roosevelt really hit us hard and we were so close to seizing the moment. But a team has to win or lose and we ended up losing. I was really thinking to myself, “Wow, after playing high school baseball for 3 years, its finally ended. So what’s next?” I really hope that next years team will get even further than we did this year. I really had a good vibe with this team. We all got along, had a great time, and enjoyed the ride. We played our each game with our hearts out and played every inning at our best. But I guess we fell short at the end. I just wanna say that we did a hell of a job this year, splitting with Mililani, Sweeping Campbell, going undefeated at home, winning senior night and finally making it through the first round in Kapolei baseball history lol. Yup, that was probably the BEST season I’ve ever had for baseball throughout my high school career although I didn’t really start. But, I’ve met a lot of new people who’ve come and gone and made some friends through the ride. And now that school is coming to an end and graduation is around the corner, I’m about to enter a new chapter in my life.
